Big Things Are Brewing at ALT+SHIFT+NERD MEdia

We've been busy behind the scenes, and it's time to let you in on what's coming.

ALT+SHIFT+NERD MEdia is gearing up to release a growing library of game development assets: tutorials, sprite sheets, character assets, plugins, and more. Whether you're just starting out or you've been making games for years, we're building resources to help you create better games, faster.

Our primary focus is RPG Maker MV and MZ, but plenty of what we're creating works with other RPG Maker versions too. And if you're using a different engine entirely? Many of our assets, especially sprites and artwork, can be adapted to fit your workflow with a little tweaking.

Here's what's on the way:

• Tutorials: Practical, no-fluff guides covering eventing techniques, editor features, and creative workarounds that don't require plugins

• Plugins: Quality-of-life tools and gameplay systems for MV and MZ

• Sprite Sheets & Character Assets: Ready-to-use graphics to fill out your project

• And more: We've got ideas. Lots of them.

Introducing the ALT+SHIFT+NERD Comix Reader

The idea is simple: if you want to read our stuff for free, the app is the place to do it.

But game development assets aren't all we've been cooking up. We're also developing something special for comic fans and digital collectors: the ALT+SHIFT+NERD Comix Reader, a free standalone application for reading digital comics.

This isn't just another comic viewer—it's built around a philosophy we call "stream versus own." The app gives you access to free, rotating content from ALT+SHIFT+NERD through what we're calling The Stream, while also serving as a fully-featured reader for your entire digital comic library, regardless of where you purchased it or what format it's in.

Here's what the Comix Reader will offer:

• The Stream: Free comics from ALT+SHIFT+NERD, updated regularly with new releases, back catalog titles, and preview pages.

• My Collection: Import and read your own digital comics in .CBZ, .CBR, .ZIP, and .PDF formats, all in one clean interface.

• The Secret Vault: A mysterious locked section that fills with exclusive content, easter eggs, and rewards as you discover hidden secrets throughout our comics and games.

• Cross-Media Integration: Find codes hidden in our games that unlock rewards in the reader, and vice versa.

• Universal Compatibility: Single-page and two-page reading modes, bookmarks, reading progress tracking, and full-screen support.

The idea is simple: if you want to read our stuff for free, the app is the place to do it. If you want to own it forever, you can buy digital or print editions from our various storefronts and add those files right into your collection within the same app. Either way, you get a beautiful reading experience with your entire library in one place.

We're building this because we wanted a comic reader that actually works the way readers want it to—and because we think indie creators deserve better tools for connecting directly with their audience.
